VARIOUS FLOWERS FOR A SINGLE WORLD

Blatantly listless, it is spinning without any attention to the human who is struggling to hear all shades of colors in one sound, to smell all scents in one photograph, to taste all flavors in one word, and to fill all emotions into one soul. The world is spinning in desperate need of its dear Sun while it is suffering from us and all things we have done.”

-Last hours of 2020 and my last words for the weirdest year...

Here are my last words for 2020, what a weird and unforgettable year it was... I've thought whatever we had done, all mistakes which our world suffered from. I realized that there isn't any kind of animal destroying their home, damaging their friends but the human. Our mentality, confusing lifestyle, ideologies we believe, aims we run after, dreams and thoughts we create with our imaginations... I couldn't help with thinking what is the difference between the other mysterious species and us in this complicated world of living things.

Obviously, there is something unrevealed, something we cannot express by using words even though we are aware of its presence. Something which caused us to be given responsibility. Yes, responsibility... As you know, we exist with our consciousness and intelligence. How special! Isn't it? These two words make us different. However, the human is the only one who is able to reject using them. We can choose to act unconsciously. Unfortunately, this is exactly what we have been doing since we stepped into this beautiful planet.

When you have something important and valuable, you become an ambassador of this valuable thing by protecting and symbolizing it with your own behavior and your own words. We have the ability to think, make decisions, criticize. We can predict the future, we can plan, we can have our own thoughts and ideas which we can firmly defense. We are ambassadors of our humanities. That’s why, unawareness is an insult to ourselves. If there is something special inside humans, it has to be beneficial in some way. It has to be used in order not to be wasted. We, humans, have a deal with the World as the protectors of history and the creators of the future for ourselves and our home. We look after our home so that it can host us with pleasure. It seems to us this agreement between the human and the World is hard to obey for people. In spite of the desire for living, we are being irresponsible.

People could be understood to get stuck in their minds. They might not escape from their worries, fears, possibilities which they don't want to exist. Their wounds might not heal and they cannot be full of happiness during the entire life. Actually, that’s okay... It is not essential because bad things always happen somehow. There is no need to worry. The best thing they should do is being aware of the strength. People should admit their fault then, remember the colorful and dynamic life. Trying to escape is not the solution for these bad things. Just look at your hands and see what you have. We have to experience all kinds of emotions. We have to let life teach us everything because our time is limited and we have a huge responsibility. As Hindi Zahra said, “...Time is running and we can’t lose...”

2020 can be considered as a lesson for reminding why life is worth living. The world is more powerful than us and it wants us to know its value. We owe it for so many things. Maybe, you should just look up. See how the stars shine and show themselves despite the distance. After that try to step back and see the whole picture, observe it deliberately. The world is still spinning around its dear Sun... It doesn't care about us and our faults. We could be the protectors but in fact, the World protects us from ourselves. Although the World is said to get closer to the end day by day or to be destroyed by the apocalypse very soon, it is still spinning... The world is spinning for our invisible, covered, forgotten hopes, and against our meaningless behaviors... We have a lot of things to learn... First, from our spectacular home then, ourselves.

I would like to say goodbye to you with some meaningful words which were sung by “Sleeping At Last”:

Just see yourself, and try to figure out what is real and has value inside you... Do it because it is the explanation of our existence and the solution for all of us. Whatever you believe, whatever you run after, and whatever you dedicate your life to being successful doesn’t matter. We have different lives, different aims, different thoughts, and beliefs but we should remember each of us is special and unique flowers of the same place. Despite all beautiful and meaningful differences, our roots are connected under the ground for the same thing. We are connected to each other for the same World forever...
