It is rather feasible to come across a comment like, “Russian women are exceedingly pretty!” or “Blonde men are the best!” virtually all over the world, as if such arguments have been substantiated and can moderately be deemed facts now. Nonetheless, I think that elegance and grace are not objective whatsoever. In addition, in my view, such baseless allegations ought to be curbed promptly, so as to ward off their detrimental consequences within society.

To begin with, these arguments could be refuted rather easily, due to the fact that beauty standards are excessively subjunctive and in fact, are dependent on communities’ cultures, traditions, and beliefs. As an illustration, in Taiwan, women with longer necks are deemed to be particularly exquisite. Hence, their culture tends to endeavor to lengthen their necks by adding a ring around their neck, whereas in the United Kingdom, women with long necks are generally seen as repellent and hideous. Therefore, prejudices against women with long necks commence to crop up. The major difference between only these two cultures, in terms of beauty standards, demonstrates the inaccuracy as well as the unscientificity of epitomes, which clearly contradicts one of the essential matters of science: an allegation shall not be declared scientific unless it is objective and is independent upon other factors.

Secondly, many people, day by day- primarily due to the media, have commenced thinking that they are repugnant, on account of the fact that their physical features do not coincide with the beauty standards. Thus, they drag themselves into a mood of depression and embitterment, solely owing to the fact that they cannot occupy other people’s absurd interests. However, as a matter of fact, everyone is appealing in their own ways, and there is decidedly not a beauty scale, as it is a pretty subjunctive topic. For instance, if a brunette person were to be affected by the media in an atrocious way, due to not meeting its standards, such as not being blonde, that would be quite peculiar, since some people might think the other way around, as in the brunette are decent-looking, whilst the blonde are not.

On the other hand, a remarkable amount of people seem to consider some particular ethnic, racial, and physical groups more superior, better, rather, than others. For example, Greek people are considered to be far too exquisite by a load of people, and on this account, one may think people in favor of such an idea do have a point, albeit researchers who have investigated this issue quite profoundly have come to the conclusion that such quantity is usually either made up on the media to draw attention and have people buy their products or stemmed from illiteracy, regarding the subject.

All things considered, as time has elapsed, the society has given rise to diverse elegance standards to evolve. They have not only deteriorated people’s life qualities owing to diverse reasons, but also have made them biased. However, this is baseless and not scientific whatsoever, as it can be deduced by the fact that opinions about the subjects tend to vary from one community to another. Hence, the cause of the manifest aggravation within societies, which makes itself evident with the depression rates sparked by “hideosity”, should either be somehow eradicated or the repercussions be mitigated.

Yeah, how happy for you that you are able to see what many people have long and unfortunately even still cannot see...
